Grants for Educators

The Les Dames d’Escoffier Dallas Chapter Educator Grants fund classroom initiatives and projects that fall outside the scope of the standard school budget. We provide resources to help Culinary Arts Educators at Public School in North Texas pursue initiatives that inspire students, address unique classroom challenges, and enrich the educational experience of students and educators in culinary and hospitality high school classes.

Our Process

Judging criteria for applications first takes into account the number of students served and alignment with LDE Dallas mission and goals.  Proposed applications will be reviewed taking into consideration the potential to improve student learning, overall project sustainability, measurable outcomes, and appropriateness of budget.

Applications are evaluated by a committee of 4 to 6 members of the LDE Dallas board and members.

Grant applications can be submitted at any time during the year; formal reviews and award decisions will be made by July 15 for funding for the Fall 2026 Semester. Grant awards will be awarded based on funds available for a minimum request of $150 and a maximum request of $2000.
